Female Captain and Swordsman from Eureka
I replaced the sword on the captain as original was too flimsy for a life of seaborne piracy. ::)

The rest are all Foundry. Some with bayonets added.

Very nicely done :)

Just excellent! :-* :-* I am particularly partial to the fellow in red. The lady in white also really pops. Nice to see all of the work that went into painting the characters on the cloth. Do these have a specific meaning? All in all a sterling entry into the LPL but I think hard to photograph in order to get all of the minis in and highlight the small details that make these gems. Did I mention that the jingal team is great? lol

Love them all, very atmospheric. Are you working on a boat or two?
-
Very atmospheric crew. Well done!

These are stunners Malcolm. A great and ingenious assemblage of figures, and even better in close up.
-
Thanks - glad you like them. :)
...Are you working on a boat or two?
No. These were painted just for the LPL. Although I do have some boats still in the raw resin.
Next up will be a short person in a bowler hat - single figure. Next painting "project" is Conquistadors. Although, of course, I could change my mind and do something else. lol

Splendid :)
I am rather envious of your whites (well, all your painting really but the whites in particular) 8)
cheers

I am rather envious of your whites...
Thanks. I still use Daz. ;)
Well, actually.
Black undercoat - because I always do.
Medium Grey.
Light Grey.
White.
Sometimes Artists' tube acrylic "Titanium White" - but not here. Not enough time with LPL.
I think the "pop" probably comes from my painting style. I tend to use quite thin paint so although often there are only 3 colours there might be 5 or 6 layers.

Thanks. I still use Daz. ;)
:D
Works a treat. How come the titanium White takes time, is it a case of more layers?
cheers

Yes.
To be honest, I don't use it often. Occasionally though when I look at the figure and think..."just one more highlight..." then I will use the titanium just at the "top" of the white.
With the LPL I often find myself rushing and having to adjust my style slightly in order to get the teams finished.
Here though, with the female pirate captain, I think it is white enough.

Thanks for the answer. I'm afraid I'm not patient enough for something like that 8)
Every time I see the word 'titanium white' I immediately think 'Bob Ross' :D
cheers

Very nice brushwork, and the bayonets are a special touch, CONGRATULATIONS!
Looking forward to see their ship! ;)

Probably do mean something, but I don't know what. Hopefully nothing rude or offensive. ::)
