Well being a newbie here and enjoying this site tremendously, I thought I would post some pics of my Dwarfs for my Mordheim warband.

Old school (like the proverbial happy shopper)!
The second dwarf looks like he could do with a wash on the skin though (around the hand, the part i hate painting almost as much as eyes...)
-
I totally agree.
Except I like painting hands... Odd. :D
-
Really? I struggle to get decent delineation (?) on the fingers usually - blacklining is too dark/obvious, brown looks too 'muddy' sometimes... Ogrynn flesh, these days, is an absolute lifesaver...
-
I use the Ogryn Flesh wash quite abit myself. He might need some more in that area. I really, really DESPISE the eyes! Cant stand to paint them.
-
I like them alot! What figures are they? If you wanted to kick it up a slight notch with minimal effort then just put some wash between the fingers, kind of a precision wash strike. Oddly I love painting hands too.
-
They are '89(i think its the right year) Citidale Dwarfs.
Got a couple more to now.

The last dwarf with the feathers in his helmet is a RoR Dwarf Champion from the GW line.
-
Ahh.. when GW figs had personality... the days of Bob Olley and Bob Naismith...
Anyway, nice work, Galman. Good to see the old boys seeing the light of day.

I love the older models. Im trying to build an entire 2500pt army with just them. Going to take some time of course, but oh well, I can do it.

I'm in the fineliner camp, when I bother to paint eyes, but luckily the last few things I've painted have been Tamiya WW2 Americans (not enough detail to warrant putting eyes in) and Hellboy (yellow eyes!) so there's been no need to...
Keep up the sterling work, we want to see more! Kinda makes me rue my midlife crisis (well, I was 16 or so) when I decided it was time to grow up and sold everything geeky on ebay, incuding some dwarves like these... including the old-school organ gun :'(

Don't forget the Perrys who did the first two posted.
-
Yeah I have quite abit of the Perry Minis, most of them painted too, just not as good as the last slayer, but I will post them up when I get the chance. Thanks for the compliments.
-
I have number 2.... and I'm sure I also painted his headband blue....15 years ago..... odd.... :)
-
As anyone knows if you have Dwarfs, they need their arch enemies with them...The Greenies! So here is a pick of a Gobbo riding a Squig.

I only really used to collect dwarves (other than historicals). It helped that I worked for GW during this period and got them cheap but I stopped counting when I went through 5k painted and about the same again in the lead pile. Sold quite a few from the pile over the years but they are still bowing the rafters in the attic.
-
Well then, I might be interested in buying some. I will send you a pm.
-
Well got a couple of more slayers painted. Like the buggers.
