Title: V8 Interceptor

Heyho.

While reading through the depts of the internet (including this nice forum) I saw a bunch of nice
Mad Max conversions. My local hobby club and I decidet to create some cool Fur Road rules so
we are conerting toy cars for test purposes^^

This is what I created over the last weeks.

That is nice.

What scale is it? The stowage is good, interesting jerry can (looks like a modern  plastic rather than a WW2 type metal one).

Thanks, I think its 1/64. I used a jerry can from a 15mm WW2 tank sprue and one from a 20mm
M 113 tank sprue.

How did you do the windshields? Masking tape and weathering powders?

Marvellous work, and I have to agree with Lucky, those windshields really sell the entire thing!

I´m a lazy person so I just work with the stuff I own and experiment a lot. :D
I used liquid latex to mast the windshield. I got that stuff from my girlfriend, I think its for
nail design. Then I just use Arm Painter dark tone, a few laers until I got the result I was aiming for.
A bit of the overall drybrush got on the screen by accident but it looks good so I went with that.

I love to build those cars in the end lots of materials flow into one of them. A old towing service card
(same material as a visa one) plastic profiles, lots of WW2 and modern AFV bits, skink spears for the exhausts,
milliput and a ink pencil cartrige for the big fuel tank.

Really awesome build - well done!

I have my gaming group (of 12 or so) all building a Mad Max style vehicle too, so we can have a battle royale when Gaslands comes out!
