Always on the look out for cheap terrain I came across these plastic topiary balls at a local B&M http://www.bmstores.co.uk/products/topiary-ball-18cm-319624 (http://www.bmstores.co.uk/products/topiary-ball-18cm-319624)
In no time at all I found myself with acres of useful terrain material, some of which I made into scatter pieces
a bit more info and pics on the blog
cheers

Like them. I have some where I have removed all the foliage, cut the holder in half, stick it to a large base and reattach the foliage. They are known as tribbles at the club but they are cheap and effective impassable terrain.
