Due to popular demand, here is a size comparison of some space orks in my possession.
First SLAP minis (always on the right) vs. Vanguard Miniatures (on the left, on sprues).
Hope this helps.

Excellent thanks - I'm so pleased with my Slap minis one's, I do fancy some of those Troublemaker/Vanguard ones too though.
-
considering how much variety in size there is in the 40k orks I'd say this is all good. handy comparisons mate.
-
Lovely, very helpful.

As this seems to interest a lot of 15mm connoisseurs, here are some pictures of other manufacturers of 15mm Space Orks.
As a comparison, there will always be one of my trusted Demonworld conversions, which made me try to build an Ork force!
PS: Excuse the bad photos, I took this pictures at night with only my painting lamp available and all my grotz sleeping!
From left to right:
Khurasan Super Mutant, Alternative Armies Space Goblins (previously sold under 15mm.co.uk, now I believe somehow integrated into their Ion Age range), GZG, Ion Age Shia Khan Space Goblin, CP models, Demonworld
-
Next one.
From left to right again:
Slap Miniatures, old GW Snotling with a gun added, Alternative Armies, ion Age, Demonworld
-
From left to right:
Alternative Armies Star Viking range Wusuq Raider (not so pretty but for a long time the only Orks in Power Armor, and the original greens looked better), GZG not-5th Element, CP models, Vanguard Miniatures Nob in Mega Armor, Demonworld
-
From left to right:
Khurasan Super Mutant, Khurasan Super Mutant Boss, GZG heavy, Star Viking Wusuq (this sculpt is actually okay and in the range are other, useful minis like squats, beastmen and cybergiants), Demonworld
-
From left to right:
Two Vanguard Miniatures still on sprue, SLAP Miniatures, Khurasan Super Mutant, Khurasan Super Mutant Boss again, GZG heavy, Demonworld
-
They all look good. With SF/fantasy miniatures you can get away with much variation in any case. Who is to say how big an orc is?

Yes, that's true! With Orcs and Goblins I do like the variation and from eye level during play it just looks like an awesome horde that way. Very much like I always had imagined a Waaagh!

Thanks for the pics Divismal,
Appreciated.
Khurasan has some new mutants out also.
A great mix indeed.
Makes me want to scrathbuild another ork army.
Rocket driven hot air balloons packed with maniacs.

The new Khurasan minis seem to be nice, but I don't have them yet. Postage is nowadays pretty steep. They are said to be a little smaller than the old ones.
I like the idea with rocket driven air balloons a lot!

Thanks Divismal
Should be interesting. I'll post pics as soon as i start building...
Postage is unfortunately what it is & is a huge let down, which is a pity as US needs trade with EU & viceversa.

Since I was asked. Here are all the poses that are in the Vanguard packs.
It's usually only 2-3 poses.
