Title: (COMMERCIAL) 15mm Skirmish Supplies website open for business

I am glad to say that 15mm Skirmish Supplies is now open for business.

As the shop name suggests, the service is tailored for Skirmish level gaming, so I've aimed at providing a modular set of options, with differing figure types and poses. No more buying a pack of 10 archers when you only need 2.

At the moment we have Ral Partha's Demonworld in for Fantasy and Blue Moon Manufacturing Sci-Fi squads. We have also some Gothic Horror and World War II sets. Finally (for the moment) Amera provide affordable terrain options. More ranges will be coming in the future.

Great idea - lovely to be able to buy smaller (split up) packs, might order some of the Battlefront off you shortly.

Yes, indeed that is a very good idea!

I've been thinking about this a bit more and I've got a few suggestions:

BattleValor fantasy - huge packs, itd be great to be able to be able to buy them in smaller batches (not sure what you'd do about the command packs).

RaPartha - some of the demonworld classic line hasn't been released in smaller packs yet, that'd be good.

Forged in Battle - FiB are good value (loads for £11) by it does mean if you want some of the contents of 3 packs it's £33. Might be worth doing something like that.

Appreciate I haven't looked at any of the business model, so these are just suggestions!

^^ I second that, and may I add, that those excellent Blue Moon historical sets (Colonial, French Foreign Legion, Wild West, Alamo etc.) would be ideally suited for your VSF section and are also pretty large and thus perfect to be split up?

Another point worth considering is that for European buyers postage from the states is sometimes ridiculous. With some sellers it's like $20. So bringing together bits and pieces and grouping them under thematic aspects (fantasy, sci-fi, post apoc, vsf, weird war/pulp, etc.)  from various sellers would be for me at least a reason to place regular orders.

Thanks for the enthusiastic comments and suggestions, guys.  :-*

Having just started out my manufacturer list is a bit small admittedly, but I'm working on that. The model is for providing differing figures from a variety of companies in small numbers that would otherwise require buying large packs to obtain. Definitely organised by theme as per the moment.

Ral Partha's Demon World is obviously on my books, and with the starter stock in place of the constructed Blighthaven warbands and additional models to flesh out the options (like wizards and heroes) I'll be going back and sifting out those models that will give more options that don't appear in the current selection (or are just generally useful without having to buy the entire warband!)

The VSF section will be seeing a lot of love, as I'm a big IHMN\Space 1889 fan. With IHMN Gothic just out it was easy to start with the Vampires, etc but I'm in the middle of adding some more figures for London and Egyptian adventures. More will follow...

The WWII section has me looking about for a selection of compatible options to go down. I have looked at Forged in Battle though. Alot to think about (whilst supposedly still thinking about my day job  o_o )

cheers for now.

The first groups of Battle Valor miniatures are now up in the store. Dwarvians (Dwarfs) and Stygian (Human) figures.

All in small packs of different poses to add to you skirmish warbands.

Excellent, Divismal  :D

There should be another BV load arriving this week with more ranges: Undead, Northern Humans and Orcs\Goblins.
