Shame so many are wielding clubs.
-
Just bought the set, should make excellent evil goons for a 1930s supers/pulp game.
-
Agreed,, perfect for some pulp gaming. I might pic some up, and toss a few Montana hats on them for some local Silver legion thugs. :)
-
I suspect the clubs are for game balance reasons to give the Ladies Archery Club units....srsly lol

Read my mind. Mosely would make a decent William Dudley Pelley while we're at it...

Considering the Home Guard at that time was struggling to find weapons, how would the BUF fare any better?
Warlord seem to have it about right to my eyes; not something I'm usually given to saying.

I think the BUF with clubs will go quite well with the footsore BUF with guns
-
Both the Buf and ldv lists allow no more than half the minis in a squad to have a weapon, also if you look closely one of the buf is armed with a pistol/sawn off weaponry as all the melee armed minis have interchangeable hands.
Personally despite it making sense im not a fan as most melee squads are hard to win with and harder to model as most of the lovely footsore stuff is with firearms.
Also looking at the home guard lsit is it a misprint of can home guard not have he armadillo ad panjandrum?

Exactly!
