If Amazons are your thing then these rather nicely sculpted ladies are soon to be available for general purchase from Crocodile Games.

They look nice. Are there any heroes?
-
There are captain and hero(ine) model due out in July. There are also some named characters, cavalry, chariots and more that will be released later on.
-
Oh dear, it seems photobucket have stopped free 3rd party hosting.
-
It's really nice to these fine models released for everybody :)
I can only recommend them as they are top notch quality white metal casts and to my opinion really catch the idea how Amazons (outside of South America :D) should look like!
I hope the photo bucket link will work again, because I am curious to see them.
cheers Thomas
P.S. Some pics you can see here on LAF http://leadadventureforum.com/index.php?topic=78861.15

you can view them in the Crocodile Games online store. I got in on the Kickstarter and have a multitude of these castings. They are clean, proportionate, have great character and the scale matches the newer "heroic" size 28mm. I could not be happier with them. They are not only perfect for the Wargods game, but I use them for OGAM and Dragon Rampant also.

I do not need to start another period! >:(
-
One of the things I really like about them is the obvious Scythian influence in their design. I feel it's a nice little nod to the possible historic origin of the Amazon Legend.

Here is a link to the Crocodile Games site and much better pictures!

Really great looking figures. :-*

I like the breastplates. So to speak. As it were.
-
What are they for?

What are they for?
Wargods of Olympus;
I believe the rulebook is expected this fall. It's the Greek version of "Wargods of Aegyptus" which is around for about 10 years.

Drunkendwarf is correct, the Amazons are for WarGods by Crocodile Games, and we expect to have the rulebook out this fall.
I'm the sculptor for these, I'm also finishing up a second wave now - with mounted archers, cavalry with spears, and a mounted version of Queen Penthesilea.
Looks like Imageshack killed their images above, here's a couple pics linked back to our website, hopefully these will show up properly:
