We're chipping away at the latest iteration of our home-brew rules. (formerly 'Cleared to Engage') This version uses the same mechanics but is flavored for a STALKER-style setting. Zona Perestrelki (Zone firefights) is the working title.
Here's another squad made with Eureka Soviets and Pig Iron heads to represent a rival crew or other NPCs. (Thank you, Gunslinger) I had previously used Assault Group figs but these are a very easy modification that yields great results. More info and pix at:

Like those A LOT. Great use of the Pig Iron heads.

Didn't Pig Iron go out of business? Are these heads still available somewhere or did you stockpile them for the apocalypse?

Back in business (if they ever really went away) http://www.pig-iron-productions.com/ (http://www.pig-iron-productions.com/)
Nice use of the heads there. I bought some of those not too long back to use on some Heresy troopers. They are massive heads though, especially in comparison to the older head sprues.

Nice work!
Re Pig Iron, the company was sold on. They've released some new stuff recently, a (slightly overscaled, imo) humvee and some resin bits of terrain.

New owners but Pig Iron is definitely still in business.
And yes, the larger heads are more noticeable on the Eureka figs, which are 'true 28mm' (or whatever it's called.) I did head swaps on Assault Group figs to make Freedom, Duty, and Clear Sky faction figs and think the overall effect is more consistent. I'll take pix of those today.
I have a sprue of AKs in my bitz box and just ordered a batch of PI Near Future Irregulars and heads for more mods. The larger, chunkier figs will be player character models to set them apart from troops and NPC hostiles.

Hello
Pig Iron here, yes we bought the company from Simon and Lisa back in April 2016. There was a short pause whilst we re stocked in May 2016. All figures and heads still available plus some new figures, Humvees, assault pod and objective markers.

Excellent squad here! The head fit those bodies very nicely and your paintjob gives them the perfect feel for the Zone!
I hope I can have a game of Stalker with miniatures at one point as well...

Zombies and dogs and bandits, oh my...
Four intrepid STALKERS raid an abandoned military garrison on the edge of the Zone.

Looking great! Glad to see you're circling back to STALKER gaming these days.
