I've got a few Undead Spartans made. This is the Champion, there will be four troops to join him. They're fantasy based, rather than historically accurate.
We're looking at a Kickstarter later, once they're mastered and there's a decent clutch of sculpts.

That looks terrific!
It occurs to me that "ancient" undead are perfect for any period from ancient to modern (and beyond). So these should be compatible with pretty much any game in the same scale - just up the verdigris!

Thanks Hobgoblin. I agree, a cursed regiment or disturbed tomb. A Necromancer could field a real mix up of different regiments too!

Now that is one spunky Spartan; those Persians aren't getting away just killing him once. He is also a BEAUTIFULLY crafted piece. VERY WELL DONE, Phil!

Very nice. I think you are making a name for yourself as an undead master sculptor.

You certainly are off to a strong start with this project.

Funnily enough this is now the top thing on my news feed on facebook, minus the helmet. In fact without the helmet (and I guess the shield insignia, it is very generic for a variety of periods.

Love it, want it!

Thank you everyone. Glad he's meeting your approval. The small clutch I have are heading to be master cast next week, then I'll carry on from there, getting some painted and others converted 👍

Wow, that's a really great sculpt - I'd be really intersted to see the Kickstarter :)
