The Hungarian rebels tried to shove their way through the Austrians to relieve a besieged fortress. Eight turns of bayonet charges ensued. Details and many photos can be found here https://corlearshookfencibles.blogspot.com/ (https://corlearshookfencibles.blogspot.com/)

Always a joy to read your photo-AARs, Vincent!
And I'm glad that this scenario has delivered a win for each side for you.

Very comprehensive AAR, congrats!
You'll make me start studying this turbulent period!

Oh, you should, you really should. Whether you mean the Hungarian war of 1848-1849 specifically (a seriously large and seriously neglected conflict, full of fascinating episodes) or the mid/late nineteenth century in general (wonderful variety of gaming potential), I highly recommend it to you.
For Hungary 1848-1849, Nagy-Sallo is the sixth BBB scenario I've done. All have been good games, and every one is different. More to come.

I sure would like to see someone do scenarios for Radetzky's battles in Italy during the 1848-49 convulsions. Someone else, that it. I'm currently thinking of Stones River for the ACW and Marengo, Bailen and Albuera for Napoleonic. Yes, I use BBB for large Napoleonic battles.
