Very nicely done.  A thought for 'next time' - use an irregular shaped base (jigsaw) instead of the square and chamfer the edges with a belt sander.  That will allow that fine modeling work to look so much better on the gaming table which would be pretty fantastic because it looks great now.

Thanks!  So many techniques, you can forget about great systems like yours. 

Much cheaper than buying ready made plaster cloth.
