The Hun The Frog & The Lion – Part 3: The Boats
The blog post series continues with installment #3 about this scenario I ran at Recon and will be running again at Hurricon in Orlando with the naval portion of this battle. The scenario dictates the use of multiple boats, a low draft civilian steamer converted to a gunboat, (2) Arab type dhows or xebecs, and numerous landing craft. Check out my blog for more pictures and details.

This is an R Class steamer made and sold by Last Stand Dan.

The front dhow was built by Last Stand Dan and the rear xebec made by Richard Houston. Richard's boats sometime come up for sale at TVAG. thevirtualarmchairgeneral.com

REALLY need to return to our Cons! Now that I have a 3 year old grandaughter who loves to play zombie and kaiju games, and she lives in Orlando, the time might be nigh!
Lets pray Hurricon is on a NON Canes home game weekend! (I'll check). If I go, I will run "The Sword and the Spongebob: Dorke's Drift" game for the chil'ren.
