Title: (commercial) GZG summer sale
Post by: zemjw on July 13, 2017, 08:55:44 PM
I'd normally put this in commercial, but I read the posting guidelines and it doesn't really qualify o_o

Anyway, gzg are having a summer sale from the 14th to the 21st July - link (https://shop.groundzerogames.co.uk/index.php).

You have to spend £25 before vat to get a discount of 20% - so basically you're saving the vat on the order (I think...)

I have some 6mm plans that I've been managing to suppress, but I'll see if I can rustle up enough to qualify

Apologies in advance if this should have been in commerical after all :D

Just bought some more spaceships to go with all the other unpainted ones ;D

It would have been more, but it seems that only about 10% of the site has pictures of the models, which is quite annoying :?

What were you looking for images of?  Just open a second window to here:

http://www.star-ranger.com/FullThrust.htm

and a third to here:

http://www.star-ranger.com/FullThrust2.htm

That must catch just about everything barring some of the ancient FB1/FB2 ships.

Thanks for the links. Those pictures are much better than the ones on the gzg web site o_o

Unfortunately is was 6mm and 25mm SF stuff that I couldn't find the pictures for. I know he does a not-Wall-E, which I thought was under 25mm stuff. The only robots I could find described there didn't sound close. It was earlier today that I remembered it was under his 15mm stuff (although I still can't find it).

Still, I've plenty to be going on with, so there's no rush. Those links you included could end up costing me quite a bit at some point, but that's for his next sale ;D

Well done Jag!

A not-Wall-E, a not-Huey, Duey, or Louie, and the first, well not sure, but could probably whistle the tune.  ;)

As for missing photos, Jon's doing MUCH better of late, but worth a nudge, as always.

Wall-E also makes the great basis of simple conversions, too.  Snip the eyestalk off and you've got a nice flat spot for an attachment point, as well as immediately breaking up the signature look.

Yea, me too.

These always seem to be on offer at a discount at inconvenient times for me.

Ah, well, I guess there's always next year......................................assuming I'm still around then.

I doubt you have to wait quite that long.

Assuming you just mean you're a crotchity old guy, as myself, hold on. No need to give the suckers the satisfaction.
