Look like old Mike's Models/Essex to me

I thought at first, given the chunkkiness of them, they might be from Peter Pig, but I'm not sure they were trading that long ago.  ???

peter Pig were set up around 1986, but these seem too chunky for them and the faces are wrong

They are definately the old Mike's Models figures that were taken on by Essex and marketed under the RP range.

Yes, I think so too.

Ah - Mike's Models... Happy days. I had a load of their Ottoman Turks. I remember getting on the train and going down to their shop in Brighton. Really nice people. Wonder what they're up to now...  ::)

I'd vote for Mike's Models too, but I vaguely recall seeing some last year.
Has someone else taken them on recently ?

As far as I am aware, Essex replaced all the Mike's Models ranges with their own in the 1990s and stopped casting them and I think got rid of the moulds...
