I've just set up a Zorndorf 1758 scenario for a game using Black Powder. I thought you might like it because it's a pic heavy post and I know you guys like that kind of thing.

Here's an over view - I had to take two pictures to get everything in.

And a view of the point of main attack.

Wow!! Superb table and minis and some great information on the battle, superb!! :)
-
Lovely! And I really like the steel wall rule, easily imported into other rules.
-
Mmmm, SYW rules the table!
-
looks just fantastic :-*

Very informative AAR! Thank you for posting, I've bookmarked your blog, for sure I'll be visiting it many times as a source of inspiration!

Very impressive. Superb set up as always.
Do you prefer BP to HoW for SYW?
-
I know this might seem odd, considering my figures feature heavily in Keith Flint's HoW published by Osprey, but I have not actually played it.
I always promised Keith that I would play a game, and report on it, but my gaming calendar is generally stacked against new things for easy gaming evenings. Given my new found love of glossy sexy, a HoW game may well be next.
I know that HoW is now the preferred rule set for at least one group of well versed SYW players up in Geordie-land. I respect those guys, so that makes it even more likely I'll play HoW.
Osprey sent me a few copies of HoW, so I don't have the cost excuse.

I like BP. Having played a couple of games of HoW now I really like as well. Simpler and easy to pick up but none the worse for that. The command and control system is particularly good and fun. You will probably find the games go quicker than BP.

I concur with that. The table looks superb though.
