So I made a bookcase sculpt on Google Sketchup a few years ago when I first got my 3d printer.
I decided I would cast some of them up in an effort to make a library for my floundering Superheroes project that never seems to go anywhere.
I have more pictures up on my blog (http://kbsculpt.blogspot.co.nz/2017/07/molding-bookcase.html)along with a rather in-depth tutorial about making 1 piece molds if anyone is interested. I'm by no means a pro at mold-making so some more experienced ones out there might have some tips for me.

Looks pretty good to me. I wanted a bunch of bookcases myself- I ended up designing my own simple empty case, had it 3D printed by Shapeways, and cast it in resin. I plan to use Hirst Arts books to fill them. My mistake was making my mold a two-part mold, which wasted a lot of resin and made things more difficult for no real advantage.

Casting up books is a great idea. That would have definitely been good to get variation. Thoughts for the future I guess.
