Title: Talavera 208 - Game Two

The second game of Talavera 208 was played this weekend on the two hundredth and eighth anniversary of the battle with a new group of players trying out new ideas.

The game proved a hard fought exciting set too with the the result very much in the balance throughout and culminating in a classic Spanish reposte to end things on.

Nice write up Jon, i know i am not the only club member who thinks you have done an out standing job on this project. It is always a joy to see your figures on the table.

So well written AAR! I absorbed it, as if it was the narration of the actual battle!
I envy the lucky fellows who were present in your games, for sure they were a grandiose and rare spectacle! A giant project accomplished! My warmest congratulations!

Hi Chaps, thanks very much for the kind comments. It is really great to see how much others like the game and has added hugely to all the fun we had playing it.

Hi Nick thanks mate, much appreciated. I will be throwing open invites to play in October when I am back for holiday so if we have takers for a game you are welcome to come over and play and see the collection in the flesh, so to speak.
