So I'm not new to 15mm wargaming but I was looking for models that had the same style as the ghosts in F.E.A.R you know the crapy floating bodies with no legs.
Is anyone else interesting in figures like that? Has anyone else found any like this?

I remember that game. Too bad that my PC at the time was not up to the job though, so I finally gave up after trying to play it. I do remember the creepy atmosphere and the shock moments.
Were the ghosts you refer to the (staple by now) disheveled young girl with the hanging hair? (or has The Ring been ingrained on my memory too much? I know there was a ghostly girl).
Hasslefree has several girls in their line wich could easily be based on a bit of wire to suggest float. And cutting minis (zombies perhaps?) in two and adding some putty entrails and then basing them afloat would not be too difficult I reckon...
+++EDIT+++ I just remember that you're after 15mm, so the Hasslefree thing will not float (heh ::) ). perhaps take a look at generic civilians in 15mm then?

no no I mean like the ghosts she summons. the floating figures without legs.

Do you mean these guys?

creepy...sorry can't help you but I would buy some of them too if you manage to find some.

Should they not be relatively simple to make out of any human miniatures by cutting the legs and sticking them
on some short translucent stick to imitate the hovering?

I'd do blue moon 18mm zombies, cut off at the waist, mount them on bases with a 1mm brass rod length (you could do translucent but that gets so much trickier) then sculpt over some of the rod to give them that floaty look. Should be a pretty easy sculpt.

yah those are the ones. Using zombies seems like a good Idea. If I find a better version I guess I'll post it here then.

There are a couple of nice ones in that group. Maybe talk to OG see it they can form a special pack?
Also, what of the Pack of Zombies from the Zombies boardgame?
