Whilst surfing for uniform information on some AWI militia and Dragoons, I came across this site that has uniform plates from 1600 up.

Besides the Blandford Press AWI uniforms book, I have just ordered this book - Digby Smith's An Illustrated Encyclopedia of Uniforms from 1775-1783  The American Revolutionary War. - from Amazon, it was going for under $40 Canadian  :o :-*
