Wargames Illustrated have published our variation for big games and siege rules for Lion Rampant in the August issue, as promised in a previous post

You might want to post one picture at least, dhtandco - Breazer looks pretty angry to me!

Do they hold copyright or can you publish them elsewhere? Since I played a large game of Lion Rampant last weekend involving a motte and bailey castle and was enthused.

Sorry Breazer my oppo Nevermore does all the photo stuff just look back at his posts or even better go to the gallery on the Victorian Steel website for literally thousands of great photos in a multitude of periods !
I am sure WI have the copyright but am pretty sure you could copy the stats required from the article. If you pm nevermore with your email address I could send you a copy of my very rough notes if you like shahbahraz ?

I'm not familiar with it at all or where to get WI. But I'll backtrack some of Nevermore posts then.

Just got myself a copy, they're great and very easy to tweak or add period detail for any particular campaign that interests you.

I particularly liked your thoughts on dealing with larger forces and treating each army as component battles. Did you apply or ignore the 3 inch rule?

We ignore it.We are lucky to play on a 12 by 6 ft table so it didn't seem relevant.

See the photos on the Victorian Steel website see the gallery then click on any photo for a 50 plus photo selection

WI is wargames illustrated it is available online or as a paper magazine and you can order individual copies /issues
