Title: Pictures of Wall Gun Carriages
Post by: Balin Shortstuff on 08 August 2017, 06:56:32 PM
I'm looking to build a light carriage for a heavy musket I have (Yeah, a reenactor) 16th-17th ish centuries.  I have only found one good one.(http://www.engerisser.de/Bilder/Waffen/Doppelhaken.jpg)  http://www.engerisser.de/Bilder/Waffen/Doppelhaken.jpg  using the search words "wall gun carriage".

Any other sources would be appreciated.   :)

Here's one I built a few years ago,The Gunner and gun is GW, The Lad wit hRamrod is Parkfield and the Framework is based on an irregular miniatures tibetan rocket launcher. Sorry about focus from a time when eldest son destroyed best camera.

Nice! I like that mod a lot. I think it's very comparable (certainly more sturdy) than the Pro Gloria/Warlord set.

I based it on an ECW wall gun I saw about 25 years ago at the refight of the battle of Lansdown (Bath).
