Anyone seen these? Up for sale on ebay and foreign sites long with the rest of the new ECW releases...but not on the warlord site?
-
No. I haven't seen them before, and I get all the Warlord Games newsletters. I'm also surprised at the price - £18.49, which makes them significantly more expensive than other Warlord packs of 4 figures.
-
They're unknown to me as well. The three Pike and Shotte metal command packs are £6 each on the Warlord website, so the £18.49 price tag seems very fishy to me. Could be worth dropping Warlord an e-mail to ask them whether the figures are legit or not.
-
I hope they are 'legit' because I quite like the top left and the bottom right figures.
-
One of the online stores here in Australia has them as Pike & Shotte command group 4 so my guess is that they are legit.
-
They look very TYW rather than ECW.

I don't see them in the US store in the TYW or ECW sections. There is only 3 Command blisters and that isn't one of them. ???
-
Context, painting style and sculpting style tells me that they do belong as part of the warlord ecw range which recently has a different style.

Yeah I couldn't find them on the Warlord site either. But a quick google brought up a few independents that have it.

I dropped Warlord an e-mail and their answer was that some traders apparently managed to get hold of the pack ahead of its general release. It can now be found on the Warlord website at a more reasonable price :

That's debatable :P

Compared to the other command groups of the range, they are more expensive. Though I must say the sculpts are really nice.

I meant more reasonable than the 18-odd quid Ebay vendors were asking for it, Iain.

Very expensive for what they are and nowhere near as nice as Empress. A shame....

And not as nice (IMO) as Warlord's own less expensive Command blisters 1 through 3. :?
-
I like them! Good that they look a bit continental.
The painting techniqe looks a little different from the earlier commands on their webstore, paler skin and black lining.
-
I've noticed that new painting style with the new aussie and jap minis, maybe armand is busy? (smile)
Amicalement
