Title: Back into Mythos painting. Some painted greeblies for starters. NSFW
Post by: Skrapwelder on 17 August 2017, 07:42:26 PM
I just grabbed every unpainted Mythos type beastie I had unpainted and started painting. Hopefully this is the start of a trend. I like working on things like this when I have no set color scheme in mind. I try to let the figure take over.

That's certainly creepy and weird.  That leech man  >:(  Great job!

Can you tell me a bit about the backdrop for taking photos?  Is that a picture you printed or something else?  Did you do something to make it look a certain way?

The backdrop is something I pulled off the web. I think I used "creepy trees" as an image searched and went from there. I enlarge it in photoshop and mounted it to a piece of poster backing so it will stand on its own. Blowing it up made it a little more indistinct which I like for a backdrop.

I finished off a pair of CP models Shoggie types and found another Reaper bones peice I painted a while ago.
