Or, come on foot...
More new sculpts from the very talented Matthew Bickley. (His father says he gets his talent from his mother, but I think he is fooling us ;)).
This time we have a band of Mexican/Tejano Vaqueros suitable for roughly 1820 - 1860 in either Texas, California or Mexico to fight Texans, Mexican federalistas, Commanches, Apaches or assist or hinder Zorro.
Led by Juan Seguin:

There are three more Vaqueros, mounted and dismounted photos in my gallery.
These will go off to the casters next week, then the horses need finishing and they are ready for sale.
Up next, the Dastardly governor, his honourable colonel, the Governors beautiful daughter and some American interlopers...

They look even better in the flesh ;)
Malamute Enterprises Inc marches onwards...
-
any more news when these are going to be available to buy? :)
-
VERY nice - so much character in the faces. Great work.

The greens are off to have the masters cast up next week. Then Matthew needs to finish the horses for the Vaqueros and the Presidials, so its probably at least a month, maybe two before you will be able to get them.

My only complaint is I think it should be Juan and The Other Juan Seguin instead of Snr. :D
-
Great looking figures...if I wasn't involved in so many other eras, these figures are sorely tempting!! o_o
-
Excellent sculpts! Full of character, well proportioned (even Fat Pedro!), and the horses are excellent!
Fantastic work.
-
Wow, amazing!!!! :-*
Must haves for sure. Please let us know the moment they are available.
Will you be covering the more common soldiery of the US during the war? Thinking mainly of the Greys and Texan regulars.

Yep I intend to do a pack of New Orleans Greys and characters suitable for Texian rebels.

My thoughts too lol

Hmmm nice. Little bit of conversion work and I see gaucho irregular cavalry

Beautiful! Together with the Presidials these figures fill a nice gap in other figure ranges.
Looking forward to getting these on the table.

Bob

I wish all figures from about 1500 through 1870's for these kind of games came in mounted and dismounted sets. ;D
I am so looking forward to these being available! :-*

I'm desperately trying to resist the urge to buy these, but I know I'll fail miserably, so I'm also trying to juggle the budget to work out how many I can afford :(
One good thing is that I already have a tribe full of Apache plus plenty of terrain :D
-
I would love to paint some of those… I’m eager to see them release. :-*

Wonderful stuff, once again. The guy with one pistol in the air and one by his side is my favourite - well, except for Fat Pedro.
Brilliant work!
