For those of us in the UK BBC4 are broadcasting a potentially interesting documentary about the ALH, Waler horses and the battles of Romani and Beersheba on TUESDAY 5 SEPTEMBER 21.00hrs: http://www.bbc.co.uk/programmes/b094f4tl

Great work! What a great documentary as well. Very balanced and wasn't Australian centric either. Gave a great history of the campaign.

BBC 4 has been doing us proud: two excellent programs in the last week or so from Rory Stewart on T E Lawrence (with some fascinating film clips) and a biopic on Gertrude Bell: I am away to get painting for the Palestine Campaign.
