Title: Offensive Fallschirmjaeger
Post by: Remington on March 31, 2009, 12:46:07 PM
No! They are not cursing and behaving like rude children. And no, they don't run around naked...

Just saw this on the sweetwater forum, I thought I'd share. A preview of the Fallschirmjaeger by Offensive Miniatures. Hopefully this time around all their miniatures will be properly proportioned.

Credit to Regulator for being such a busy News bee! :)

EDIT: Painting is by Andrew Taylor, according to mountain miniatures.

I saw these at salute at the weekend & they looked really nice.
I did notice that a lot of the miniatures that have been photographed look a little odd, but when they are seen in the flesh they look spot on  :D :D

I wish they would photograph their US airborne again. The mortar set from example looks really odd. Combined with a review that, if I remember correctly, I read here on this forum, I have been put off buying them. Maybe I'll give the Fallschirmjaeger a go.

Fantastic paintjob.  Nice figures but...not more Fallschirmjaeger   :?

I have already painted some of the Artizan German Paras.  And I like the look of the Foundry figures.

I like them too, but I concur with Orctrader's expressed sentiments. Do we really need -more- of these guys?

Just an opinion, granted.

We do need more because I have not got any FJ yet and want to pick the best.

Does that mean that you think these are "the best?"  And if they are, what makes them better than the others?

Just curious.   :)

I wouldn't name them as the best either... but they are different. I don't own any Germans yet either, but if these get properly proportioned throughout the range, then I will give them a go.

I did not mean these are the best :o, no doubt the next company that makes them will be the best.

Well, I love 'em all.  And since I'm sick of Zombies, I just realized that I should pit my FJ against other people's zombies.....

And here's me thinking this was all about this stripper Fallschirmjäger which White Knight's been posting about lately. :)

They look very good - will make a good match for the US paras. They've taken a good while to release them though.
