Help!!
As this model comes sans decals I have been looking at options.
Preferably I would like to model it as part of the British 79th Armoured at Walchen /Scheldt
I am aware of Warlord basic decals for the 79th Funnies in store, but I was hoping to get all the other bits too
Star/Bison make them in 1/35th but they would be too big
I would use 1/72 but they do not seem to do them.
Any suggestions gratefully accepted
Cheers
TT

Company B makes a *huge* range of 1/56th scale decals (in addition to a large range of vehicles, crew and accessories). They have multiple sheets of USMC/PacWar decals, including for LVTs:

Probably not going to be my most helpful post but:

So there will be decals for it (and I for one will be pushing for 79th Armoured Division decals).
Have you details of what markings you require?
Having used the Warlord Guards Armoured Division, WD numbers and the tactical marking decals on my tanks, the equivalents and the Allied stars should cover your general needs.

I was hoping to reproduce these

I see what you mean.
So the division insignia and the tactical signs should be on the 79th sheet (except tactical sign 40 - division HQ).
The examples look like they are from an unbrigaded C squadron, senior regiment A squadron and again a division HQ A squadron (not seen it on any of the sheets).
No idea where you can get suitable decals of the required fonts for the troop rank number, 15mm German hollow white outline might work for one of them.
The WD number sheet has P prefixes.
You might find some suitable names on the name sheet.
No idea where you would get the pennant decal on the middle example.
It would be really useful if kit manufacturers actually had suggestions of where items such as the decal could be sourced and where they should go. You would think it would be part of the design and production process (like instructions).

Company B has all such a wide range of vehicle decals for all combatants, I'd be surprised if you couldn't combine the US LVT decals with British AFV decals for the effect you're looking for.

I've had bespoke decals made by Company B in the past. Inexpensive but very good quality. Drop Brent a line with some photos of what ypu want made.

Thanks for the advice guys, I shall look at Company B again and see if I can cobble together sufficient with WG and Company B, if not I shall look at a custom set.
