Afternoon all
Following on from my Napoleonic army project I am now looking to open up a 'Sudan' project. Does anynbody have a definitive list of 28mm manufacturers out there?
In particular I need to establish which ranges work with the Perry's Madhist plastic box range (just bought 6 boxes of the figures).
cheers

My friend, the Perry brothers, completely close this topic!

Agreed, although to be fair, Old Glory have some nice filler. :)

...and Essex, and Connoisseur.

How do the Essex compare to Perry? I thought they were 25mm?

they are quite chunky...in my opinion they fit well with other manufactures..i've quite a few of them...they also made a pair of unique types that nobody make: for the Ansar there is spearman with an oblong shield which, for some few types, is historically correct...for the Egyptians: is the only manufacture having in his range a late type Egyptian British equipped infantryman with kaki uniform and puttees
also Britannia are quite good ..they only make Fuzzys but their kneeling types are very iconic

Thank you Sir

You might want to add Redoubt to your list as well.
