Title: A very Brazilian Civil War
Post by: carlos marighela on 02 April 2009, 10:43:34 PM
Well continuing the current fashion for creative history, I was thinking about a possible setting for a civil war or even a series of domestic uprisings and rebellions in Brazil in the early part of the 20th century. Then I remembered te country had its fair share of these and there was no need to invent any of it.

I must say though , once you've been there, you can see the enormous appeal of bombarding São Paulo. :D

Very interesting issue.

But as you stated not necessary to invent much!

I always dream some action with bandits, gendarmes etc etc

Or Rio de Janeiro during the Carnaval !?!?!?!

Actually as it happens Rio was bombarded early last century. But I believe no bare chested, waggly bummed women were hurt in the production.

Nothing, In fact I admire them. But is a good excuse to make a photo research on their "costumes" and have some in .... lead
