Not that kind of question...
Haven't been able to access it for over 24 hours, so is it just me?
-
No, it's not just you.
It was a shadow of its former self anyway.
-
I figured the system self terminated over ennui from Mac and Apathy's monologues... lol
Was posting on a thread and started one regarding the Orville and ST: Discovery - the former feels more ToS/TNG and the latter a Battlestar Galactica revamped clone.

This is the longest ive known the frother hamsters to stop working, would be sad to see it go, despite its current state, its always worth popping in for a laugh or two
-
It's seemed very dead recently , I think the current top posts in the sculpting forum have been there for a good few months.
-
It's a good thing it's not that kind of question . . .
or you'd be in for a very long answer.
-
Has a spare hamster been found yet?

It's been offline since Friday or Saturday, which isn't necessarily a bad thing. Could be a glitch.
On the other hand, it is a few months past the listed domain expiration, so something might be going on.
EDIT:
On the other hand, maybe it should finally die.

It may have been just you, as I could still access it til late Sunday...
If it goes, you know who'll be shimmying along with his posse. :o
-
That's right, today is Tuesday. Then it was Sunday for me as well, in the morning.
-
Sadly, I think it has gone to the great website in the sky. It has been down before but not for as long as this.
-
"What's wrong with Frothers?" That's a retorical question, right? :)
-
Probably is dead, but all the 'it's never been down this long before! is a tad OTT. It has (and as Condottiere says it was available on Sunday) and has returned. But possibly Doc has staked his creation at last (kind of a mixed horror thing going on there?)
As for not being as vibrant, well yes, but some people flounced off with their shininess elsewhere and those places remain ineffably tedious.
It had/has a unique ambience.
But then, so did a lot of pubs I've been in and they've all been demolished too, thank goodness!
-
Some years back it was down for a week or more and that lead to a complete overhaul of the forum (eventually). Apparently the one guy who was able to fix it had pretty much nothing to do with the site and was difficult to get hold of as well. I would assume a similar state of affairs. I'm sure it'll wheeze back to life at some point.
-
well the hulking mass has risen once more from it's slumber - Frothers is up and running again!
-
Oh dear, there are going to be some very upset people over on TMP. :D
-
There always will be, with or without Frothers. ;)
-
Some mixed emotions on the Platypus no doubt as well :D
-
Frothers ensures Bill's site is moderated...
That Tango can't decide whether to post as a Fawlty Towers' character or some bloke in the Northern hemisphere... lol
