Hello again all,
A friend asked why I had used the human type vehicles for my Serpentia & I replied I would build snake men specific ones.
Well here's my wip on them.
2 sizes of washing m/c drain pipes ( just look on the lovely internal detail on the grey pipe )
Top of a plastic bottle ( to fit hose to front piece )
A lemon juice cap ( rear hatch )
Scratchbuilt front piece. ( plaster of paris & card )
I will need to add light & heavy weapons next

It looks like you have a good start... the pipes are a good fit with the theme. It is difficult to comment on the other bits and bobs without knowing what they represent but I reckon you are definitely on the right track :)
Hopefully, further updates will add a bit more context so we can see where things go :)

Thanks for the feedback Inso,
Will look much better for sure when finished.
The plan is to glue it on an mdf + hard foam base so as to form it into a solid thing.
Then wire pipes , aerials, weapons, hatches etc.
The front piece is the snakepit ( cockpit ;) ) where the crew sit & the yellow piece is the back hatch
The pipe was the logical thing thing for snakes.....
Will post pics asap.

These are such a cool concept. Excited to see them painted! :)

And here they are as promised my friends ..... I had to add small flt bases to them as they were wobbling over.
Sandstone, Buff, Carmine Oil colour diluted with non stink type W&N turp wash turns the sandstone colour to a pinkish hue, W&N ultramarine . Windshields made with Pearlescent paint + Ultramarine.... The base was done in cracked sandstone then given a wash of carmine.
I need a break now, off to continue the Necromunda board.....

Wow, those are great! Cool!
-
They look good all painted up! 8) I don’t remember ever seeing something sooo different in a vehicle before!
-
Thank you both :D
Andym , it was a logical evolution of an idea but I must say that I did it because someone remarked why I used the original vehicles made by CM. So it was sparked by feedback, that's why feedback is so important.
