We played a game of Oscar Sierra Charlie with my freshly painted Cold War minis as seen in another thread.
The Battlefield. Soviets deploy by the Tank and the Danes by the red car.

A soviet sniper takes up possition in a building.

The Danes take up possition to cover the road.

The Soviets advance into a hail of bullets and get pinned down.

A visious firefight breaks out in the street.

A few Danes try and outflank the Soviets in the street by going over the roof of the supermarket.

But the Soviet sniper halts them by killing one and wounding the other.

Retribution is swift however as the sniper has now revealed his possition and one of the danish MG's open up and kills him in a hail of fire.

The Soviet forces try and outflank the Danes. And the lone survivor on the roof tries to fend them off but is killed by the combined fire of the two soviet flankers.

In the end the Danes have won the firefight in the street and retrieved two objectives. So the game ends as a victory for the Danes.

Very, very cool.
Great figures and terrain.

Very cool!

Fantastic looking table and miniature work.
Are the buildings from a model train line?
-
The buildings are from Sarissa. Some of the cars are from The Walking dead game. The rest are stolen from my sons collection.
-
Thanks!
I just looked them up and I really like the look of the factory and warehouse kits.
-
That's a nice little set up there. It's good to see the Bund' figures in use in a game.

Bill Weston.

Good gaming on great terrain with lovely miniatures.
Great pictures as well. I do admire your camera skills. There are some really actionpacked angles. I especially like the picture where my sniper is taken out and the window erupts in smoke and fire.
Didn“t mind the new Carlsberg either, though I am having trouble finding up here in Randers.

Great report, pics are great and it was suspenseful. But what were the Soviets doing there?
-
Thanks. The soviets was fightig the Danish army over 5 different objectives, that were located in and around the supermaket.
We have been fighting a somewhat stalled campaign of the Cold war gone hot, where the Soviet army attacks Denmark. Using Cold War Commander and 6mm armies. Previous reports have been FUBAR'ed by Photobucket.
This was not so much linked to it but still in the same setting.
I find even the simplest of narratives for at game gives a whole other dimension to a game.

Exiting stuff!

I've read and loved all of the other threads. What made them a bit sharper were the backstories.
Still, I love it!

AWESOME terrain (I loved the interiors!), well chosen and painted minis and great AAR, CONGRATULATIONS! :-*
