Very impressive.
It's nice to see large games of M&T going on.
Did you use the rules straight out the book or any of Jay White's tweaks for faster play?

Very interesting. I swiped your scenario notes for future reference. A schematic map of your table would be a boon...
That was a way bigger game than I usually expect for M&T. Per your report, it played very smoothly. It seems you didn't use any special events or personal goals. We don't use them for our local M&T games, we think they slow down and interfere with play.
Gorgeous table and figures. Your fort is spectacular. Thanks for the post.

Excellent, M&T is a cracking set of rules, equally downloaded your Maori variant as it works a treat :D

Thanks chaps,
The rules were played as per the published rules - no change or adjustment, barring a couple in such a large game. We play a little loose with the 'central figure' concept and instead just blob figures in a unit together. Also, in combat, it's one in, all in...to speed resolution. Neither of these tweaks really hurt the outcome of game play.
Jay's MnT amendments might be something we'll try in the future....his blog and posts are an inspiration for those that haven't seen it

We also left out the side plots but did include officer traits for the leaders that kept things simple.
The terrain and figures were laid on by LAFer VonAkers....who has a deluxe set up...we're lucky we can put on the big game in his room.
Muskets & Tomahawks always delivers...it's fast and multi play freindly. We've pretty much settled on it as the balance between historical narrative and doable game play ie the games finish!
