Did you mention the game you're playing? Those are 28mm on 40mm square bases?

they are for Soldiers of God on 50mmx50mm bases, this is a 300pt army, currently finishing the Saracens

i like the system even though i have only played twice in the last year, this is the most enjoyable project i have done in ages
when i have finished the last 3 units for the Saracens i can finally have some proper games

Feels like Command & Colours - that decade old hex-based board battlegame with little cubes for units, division into centre & flanks, and activation cards. Only with minis, so more freedom and better looks. I liked that game!
One of the games I need to keep in mind when basing my 15mm.
