Title: Tabasco Fire - A Solo Pulp Alley AAR
Post by: Idle Doodler on 17 October 2017, 12:26:26 PM
Mr Phipps, your demo videos have corrupted another young mind. I join the ranks of those playing and posting AARs having had one's enthusiasm engines fired up.

Doodler, nice looking game.  It is great to see your minis move from the "painted" thread to a  "AAR" thread!

I think it is always fun to see how different scenarios play our for other gamers.  We started the Perilous Island campaign a while back, but this game is still in my mind.

Where to the opening chest you used for a plot point come from?

Look forward to watching your campaign unfold.

Matt

Many thanks, all!

I've heard the term bandied about but never really twigged what it is. I shall investigate!

Thanks! The thread itself has been a good enough incentive to keep the painting queue trickling along - this collection has certainly grown a lot faster than previous attempts. It's the first time in fifteen years (!) that I've actually stuck on one project long enough to have anything to show for it!

The chest came as one of the extras in TTCombat's Deluxe Dungeon (https://ttcombat.com/collections/fantasy/products/deluxe-dungeon-set) set (which is taking a very long time for me to get around to finishing).

Though inaccurate - having worked there for a year, I observed living there to be more like being stewed than roasted (oh, the humidity!), but 'Tabasco Boiling Water' would have been a more tenuous link to the original scenario title!

Loved it! Keep up the super fantastic work!!

Thanks folks!

Thank you!

I used the free demo version of Comic Life (http://plasq.com/apps/comiclife/macwin/).
