That's really, really cool. 8)

I know it's been done before, but your execution is just great. They'll make excellent scatter terrain or objectives...

Hey, thanks guys!!....I think I may add a bit of color and a tad bit more detail to the second pod just to give it a bit more presence...

Carl

Great stuff.
But a couple of things.
Firstly, wouldn't an escape pod be fitted with a parachute or some other device for softening the landing so the occupants can get out unscathed? With a landing impact like that, which half buries the thing, it's hard to see how the occupants would survive the impact.

Secondly, that's an awfully big booster on a relatively small body. Where was the fuel stored?

There is a thirdly, of course...

Who cares? Excellent looking builds.

 lol lol...Thanks!!...I know it's got a big nozzle....and NO, I'm NOT overcompensating!! ;D

Neat result.

I like the rough edges of the bases as well as it makes a nice change from the normal flat ones.

With a landing impact like that, which half buries the thing, it's hard to see how the occupants would survive the impact.
And I was thinking with just the one door if it got buried how would they get the door open to get out.
Not those other silly issues you questioned. LOL
I love it. But with a nozzle that big you see how it buried in the dirt.

Hehe....oh, I don't know, maybe the onboard computer has a way to figure which way is up....or maybe some exploding breakaway emergency cleverly hidden ;)
.........but yeah, on the next couple I'll look for smaller nozzles....lols.
Cheers,
Carl
