I enjoy a lot playing Victory Decision with my italian paracadutisti but i have a problem with Semovente. Why italian gun 75/18 of Semovente is worse than 47/32 of M13/40?
Look:
Range Damage Features
75/18 24 D6+3 Blast 2
47/32 48 D6+3 Blast 2
I think the blast of 75/18 should be at least 3 and i think it was more effective as AT gun than 47/32 ! Any suggestion? Thanks.

Hmm, according to my books the 47/32 M35 had a better range.
Armor Penetration of the 47/32 was a maximum of 74mm.
For the 75/18 the AP was 60 or for the late model 85mm.
In addition the 75/18 had a shorter range.
All of this is of course open to debate. Same goes for the Blast area.
Since ViDe is not reflecting AP or Blast down to the mm, I decided to give both guns the Damage Value of D6+3.
So in ViDe both are basically the same weapons, the shorter range is also reflected in the points, 75/18 cost 10 points less.
Hope that explains the reasoning.

Thanks for the quick answer. I hoped in a better blast at least but i'm not skilled in balistics so i can't say anything about that.
I wrote you because i played lots of wargames concerning italians tanks (i.e. Squad Leader, Panzer Blitz, Tobrouk of Avalon Hill, Bolt Action, Flames of War ...) and always the 75/18 Semovente's statistics are better than M13/40's ones.
I also read some informations on Wikipedia and in some historical book and again Semovente 75/18 is considered more effective than M13/40's gun Elefantino.
But ... fortunately it is impossible to test these weapons in real life so lets go to play !
PS ... anyway don't forget italians please lol lol lol
Thanks!
