Title: Ammo Boxes and/ or Crates for 28mm Colonials

Hi All,

I found an old post from 2010 asking about 28mm ammo crates and boxes:

It appears that the 25/ 28mm mountain gun and Krupp gun ammo boxes from Bicorne Miniatures are still available, but they are not illustrated.

Does anyone else now make model rifle ammo boxes, mountain gun shell boxes, or machine gun ammo boxes for the Sudan or other Colonial theatres? I'd like to give my African porters, camps, gunboats and deployed machine and mountain gun models something close to the proper period and scale ammo boxes for the 1890s.

Last year I asked AW Miniatures for some - they were able to oblige - I used them to fill up my carts

I asked them at a show if they could produce some for me - I don't believe they are listed on the site but they are produced for some of the vignettes

I believe redoubt have some in their ranges Zulu war I think
