Title: The Great War French army
Post by: WimVdB on 13 November 2017, 07:54:45 PM
Just noticed the new expansion for The Great War for the Richard Borg game is on Kickstarter now.

It looks like they are using a new sort of plastic, and miniatures will not come on a sprue but as loose miniatures.

I hope this is the correct place to put this topic in.

Get in within the next 48 hours (approx) and you'll get an even cheaper rate. The KS itself runs until late November.

All current pledge goals already unlocked, and expecting new ones!

I have played a few games with the basic box. But that is more then six months ago now.

From what I remember, it is not Memoir '14-'18! And not Command & Colors WW1 either.
The basic system is the same, but you use two card decks. One on the strategic level and one for tactical decisions.
At first it was a bit difficult to "get into it", the four of us speak a foreign language (Dutch) as prime language, but after our first game, we (me and 3 other gamers) all liked how the game went.

BTW, it is a two player game, we had 2 basic boxes to play.

We will soon play the game again, but I first need to reread the rules again.  ::)
