Going on a week (5) of business days and a Saturday right now, and my order is still "processing"

They take their sweet time. You'll get it! Communication was also almost zero for me too.

I find them slow to ship (about on par with non-prime Amazon), but they usually get it out the door within half a week or so. They're probably mega-swamped right now with the huge deep discount clearance they've got going on, so it wouldn't surprise me if orders are taking longer than usual to process.
I placed an order wth them early last week, and it hasn't shipped yet eather. I'm not sweating it much, as my experience with them has been that while they can be a little slow sometimes, they always come through.

Suprised at the at cool mini or not's customer service girl's statement of " your order is not lost or forgotten, just in the middle of a stack of thousands"
No eta, no attempt to make me feel like a valued customer.

They've always had "communication issues" for as long as I've been aware of them. Last time I tried to contact them was I think a year ago, at which time they had just replaced their contact email with some kind of horribly roundabout & obscure social media thing. They've also been taking longer to ship stuff out over the past 2 years or so. I suspect they've been increasingly backburnering the actual store in favor of their kickstarter projects.
The store itself has always had a few really head scratching design flaws going back for as long as it's been around. Like how nowhere on an individual mini's page does it tell you what company that mini is from, or link you to the subpage for that company's other minis. Or how minis that are dropped from the restock list are almost never removed from the catalog, and even stuff that's legit just out of stock takes half a year or more to restock, so 1/3 of their catalog always consists of tease entries in a superposition state between "temporarily out of stock" and "no longer carried/produced- will never restock".
I've ordered from them many times over the years, and based on my experiences, they will come through eventually. However I wouldn't recommend using them as a primary vendor like I would've 2 years ago. Wait for their big clearance sales to scoop up what you can, but treat it as a "fire and forget" order. Don't buy from them if you need something on a timetable, and don't buy from them as a "normal" purchase.

CMON did get absolutely blasted with business from their Black Friday deals, so there is probably a massive back log.

It kind of makes me wonder if they are getting rid of some lines they no longer want. Maybe focusing solely on Kickstarter projects, or perhaps I just don't know the extent of US Black Friday sales ;)

I ordered on 28/11 and got an email my order was shipped on 07/12.
Not exactly stellar performance, but not worse than some other companies I've orderrd from in the past, be they European, American or Australian.
I kind of expected to end up in their backlog because of that ridiculous sale, and so far, they've been right on par I suppose... :D

So I made a follow up order on the 22. Not even an email stating they had been shipped yet. apparently a few people on facebook agreed with me on lack of communication as they have been waiting in some cases since november.

Not that this will help you at all, but on another forum there are loads of people still waiting for CMON stuff since November, etc...so you're not alone. The few people who got through to them by phone were not impressed with the responses they got (cliff's notes: "Well, yours is one of thousands of packages...we'll get to it when we can" style of response).
I'd probably be confident it will EVENTUALLY find you. Alternative? Paypal dispute or cancel it --- though I suspect you got in on the sale, so that may be too good to skip out on.

I placed two orders with them during the sale period, one in mid november, the second in late november. The fist one shipped in late december, the second one is still "processing".
I'm guessing they think if they can just keep their head down and grind through, they can get through this without having to pay for a holiday hire and save some overhead. Feels maybe "penny wise, pound foolish", as they're creating a lot of disgruntled customers and bad word of mouth. I've been a customer of theirs for ten years, but between this and the general decline in response times and CS availabilty in the past 2 years, this will very likely be the last time I order from them.
I'm crossing my fingers, but I've heard rumors about people being refunded for stock that was oversold, and worse, orders being fulfilled out of order. Those two things in combination spell bad things. If I order a figure with limited stock, I should have a "first come, first serve" claim to that unit. If someone who ordered the same figure a week later gets his, but I get an "oops, we oversold, sorry about that" email, that's really bad. That's two seperate fuckups intersecting to create a third metafuckup.
They love to crow about how sucessful their kickstarters are, but I know that I wouldn't be willing to make the leap from retail customer to pledger based on the way they've been letting their retail CS decay on the vine. Doesn't say good things about their internal culture.

Says everything about what the executive staff is concerned with. Immediate payoff vs establishing a strong customer base and CS section to help that.

So my second order from the CMON sale in November FINALLY arrived. Sans one of the items. Everything on the invoice has a check mark in ballpoint next to it except that one, which has an "R1" next to it.
I don't know what "R1" means. I have received no refund for this item, and no explanation for it's absence in any form aside from this cryptic "R1".
It's hardly any money at all: just a couple bucks, literally. But it was one of the few items in the order that I was actually buying because I had a specific use planned for it, instead of just just scooping up 'cause It was cheap and sorta looked like something I might use for something someday maybe. In other words: the one figure that actually mattered was the one they screwed up on.
Good job guys. Good. Job.
