Russia-fying some PSC Blitz trucks to use for Cold War games. The Blitz truck kit has a lot of usable parts and spares on each sprue.
I lengthened two of the chassis for medium trucks. Also altered the nose and radiator for a more Russian look. Extended the front fenders and re positioned the headlights. I used the outer and inner wheels from the kits for outer wheels and made up some plastic disks for the inner wheels. Won't be easily seen once painted and I can't see them on 15mm anyway!
The Russians also used a variety of tracked truck/tractor hybrid vehicles, and there are enough spare parts with the Maultier tracks to build up a couple of critters.
So far, three sprues have yielded five vehicles. The only part I don't see a use for is the Mercedes logo on the optional radiator. Regards, Rob.
