Title: Ironclad Gents with Sporting Guns
Post by: JollyBob on 17 April 2009, 07:37:00 PM
Since Mancha asked so nicely, here is a picture of them, straight out of the packet and not even cleaned up.

Actually, they don't need that much cleaning, one or two very fine mould lines and that's it.

They are nice, unfussy, and will paint up a treat. And yes, the one on the far left does indeed have a monocle.  :)

Definately  'must have'. They will be perfect for a game I have in the planning stages.

Now all we need are ladies with sporting guns ....

I think I also mentioned somewhere that if you resculpt three hats, you'd have some extra troops for a 3ECW militia force. Thre's nothing else that really ties them into being "Victorian" as such.

Great job Ironcladman.  :D

Very nice minis, and thanks for posting.  The third guy from the left looks a little "mad hatter", but they're definately on my shopping list.

They are very nice I took the two with bowler and flat cap whilst my mate took the other two for BCW and to mix in with the GB Hunting party as their footmen

Cool looking figures. What are you planning on doing with them Jollybob???

They may take part in the resistance to the Goa'uld invasion of northern England of 1895.

They may also sit on a shelf for years before being touched.

Its a crazy world of choices for me.  lol

Is it just me, Bob, or does the chap on the left look like an extremely angry "Monopoly Guy"?;)
