Title: Revolutionary Napoleon
Post by: jcspqr on 03 January 2018, 04:24:30 AM
Any help on sourcing a mounted ( on a horse)  Napoleon for the revolutionary wars campaigns.  I am only aware of the Trent version.  The Brigade Games version is verry nice, but is on a camel so not much help for continental campaigns.

No mounted Napoleon per se but Eureka's Revoltionary Wars range contains both mounted French Officers in bicornes and a young Napoleon at the Bridge at Arcola. Perhaps a headswap or maybe just the mounted officer would do?

Brigade games does a mounted (on a camel) Napoleon and Trent Miniatures does a mounted First Consul Napoleon plus other Revolutionary Commanders Brune etc. Crazy, I can't think of a mounted revolutionary Napoleon.

Wargames Foundry did a rather nice one, based on the Napoleon crossing the alps paintings, as a special some years ago. Sculpted by one of the Perrys, maybe you can pick one up on eBay or from some LAF member’s stash?

Yes that Foundry special model would be perfect if it was available. No harm following with with Foundry to see if can be found.
