Mierce are formerly Maelstrom who went under owing quite a lot of people quite a lot of money. Worth pointing out.

I didn't know about this but found a pretty reasonable summary here: https://www.dakkadakka.com/dakkaforum/posts/list/615473.page

The TL;DR is that Mierce is RobLaneCompany2 when Maelstrom was RobLaneCompany1. RLC1 (allegedly) started selling anything profitable to RLC2 whilst avoiding paying debts owed to various companies.
