Looking good! Perhaps a little over-armoured for my view of Dunlendings.

Yah, maybe they're thanes or chieftains, can't remember what the blister said.

KGatch113, I used a length of rubbery string (EZ line) that's originally intended as antenna wire for model aeroplanes. It stretches, so you can pull it pretty tight, and it glues well with superglue. There's various thicknesses available, I think.

Nice. I have a set of these to paint up too. I always thought they were a little over-armoured too but then using them as thegns etc. as suggested would be a good idea - just need to get some "properly attired and armed" Dunlendings to use as the cannon fodder.

I have a couple of those 'rebel' dunlendings with orc-made weapons, but I'd go for some dark age plastic warriors from Gripping Beast. They're generic enough to work as pretty much anything like that. Maybe customize a bit for preference etc. :D
