A small scenario based game from last night with a French supply convoy being attacked by an Anglo-Dutch force.
The French wagon train whilst rumbling through a heavily wooded area has been caught by an Allied force of almost equal size but with more horse and dragoons (the latter troops proved to be a real problem for the French who had none of their own to counteract them). The figures are all from the collections of Mark & myself with all scenery from the Grimsby Wargames Society. More on my blog -more photogrpahs and more explanation of the ideas behind the game.

Looks very good. Wondering what rules were being used.

Excellent looking game.
Well done.

Thank you one and all.
The rules are our own "Corporal John & the Sun King". Very much in the Gilder style - lots of dice, whole figure casualties and simple.

Where can I buy a set of these rules ?
