One of my players has a Warden who loves to create pools all over the board. Are people making their own or buying them?

I made mine. the base was a CD, to which I glued a 3" circle of heavy paper. I then added a rim of glue around the paper, spray-primed, and painted and flocked. Finally, I added some water effects to make it look like water.

The first thought I had when I saw the post was "Don't eat yellow snow!"
However, though I don't do frostgrave I am about to make some enchanted pools and mystic portals/gateways. So I have ordered some cheap agate slices from China to see if they are the sort of thing I want. The plan is to use them flat as pools with a scenic edge if required and the portals would be upright maybe with a surround or backing.

Edit: found these on Etsy https://www.etsystudio.com/listing/215455907/multipack-15-3-agate-slices-dark-blue (https://www.etsystudio.com/listing/215455907/multipack-15-3-agate-slices-dark-blue)

Now those agate slices are a cool idea.
Back to the point, I also have done some pools (on card) in much the same way.
very cheap to do, and will have to do some more.

brilliant - going to have to have look for these.
* and indeed I did - but hasn't worked out for me.
the cheaper ones about (hardly bargain prices) are rather small - and you don't get the brillance visually without a light source behind.
