Title: Primaris Space Marine Mini-Force

I love the new right-scaled Primaris Marines. I am thinking of doing a small, story-based force consisting of:

10-man Primaris Intercessors
Primaris  Redemptor Dreadnought
Primaris Repulsor

I'll catalog the project here as it gets underway. Any feedback will be helpful. Thanks!

What chapter will they be? Hopefully something a bit unusual, like Red Scorpions, Howling Griffons or Exorcists :)

I'm half way through (ish) doing 2000 points of Primaris only Imperial Fists.
I kind of wish I'd made up my own Chapter, but that doesn't stop the models being great fun to paint and looking awesome when they're done.

Actually, I am thinking Ultramarines, but heavily weathered and battle-scarred. Like they've been on campaign.

All the pics I see of Ultramarines on box art feature such clean armor and gear. I want to weather and dirty things up using stippling, dry-brushing, and other techniques.

I may go another direction, but this is what I am thinking now.

I'm working on this now, I'm just doing the 10 man squad plus a couple of characters perhaps.  I'll eventually do more.

I have the Sgt. finished and got distracted and did an Aggressor too.  I'm doing mine as Crimson Fists.

I'm going to use the "movie marine" rules for them from WD 300 so that the 10 of them will be able to take on whole alien armies.

Sounds like a plan.  I'll bring my Genestealer cultists down and we can take turns beating the snot out of them if you want.
