Hi
Finally, I have found some time to paint my Gangs of Rome stuff. I have started with the free miniature -Barca- and the girls. There are two girls left to be painted, yet. I hope to finish them next week.
Figures are mostly clean, without flash and with barely noticeable mold lines. The heads of the girls are very small. They sit somewhat awkwarldy on too big -in my opinion- necks. Once painted it is not noticeable, though. Bases have been made with Magic Sculpt, by the way.
Overall I am happy with the figures. They paint well and are not overloaded with stuff that only serves to slow down the painting process but that don't add anything significant to the figure.

Nice mate!

Very nicely done. I like the bases a lot with the grass growing between the cobbles.

Looking good. Nice color scheme and basing. :-*

Well done. :-* :-*

You were doing that gangs of Rome with saga a while back, yes? Did that ever get off the ground?

Nice painting and basing on those figures.

Thanks guys! I will try to improve the pictures for next installments.

Too Bo Coo, i tried with some rules written by Mark Backhouse (Saga version) and they worked fine gang vs gang.
I also played with Song of Shadows and Dust and it was fun also. Less miniatures but you can vary with diferent characters.
If i remember you play Saga so give them a try even if you dont have full gangs. Use other minis just to try. :)
